About Us
Chinese Alliance Christian Church (CACC) is located at 60 Ben Lomond Crescent, Pakuranga Heights, Auckland and is a part of the Alliance Churches of New Zealand. The church was established in 1991 as a gathering of families from Hong Kong. Since then, we have grown into a cross-cultural community of more than 200 first- to third-generation Kiwi-Asians speaking primarily English and Cantonese.

Role Purpose
The Cantonese Pastor will be responsible for pastoring the Cantonese ministry, which exists alongside our Children, Youth and English ministries. He or she will inspire, equip and lead us towards fulfilling our church vision: becoming a Christ-centred, missional, intergenerational and cross-cultural church family.
Personal Attributes
Essential:
• A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion to make Him known
• Strong servant leadership in a cross-cultural environment
• A heart for disciple-making and spiritual growth
• Cultivate people’s spiritual gifts, equipping and releasing them to lead their ministry areas
• Trained in a Bible seminary
• Fluent in Cantonese and comfortable in English
• Agree with the NZ C&MA’s Statement of Faith (https://www.alliancechurches.org.nz/about/)
Desirable:
• A sound understanding of and commitment to Alliance tradition and thought
• Ordained by the Alliance or other evangelical denomination
• A passion for second-generation Kiwi-Chinese and beyond is a plus
Key Responsibilities
• Oversight of planning and coordination of worship including regular preaching
• Build, equip and lead a ministry team to oversee the Cantonese ministry
• Lead the ministry team to develop and execute a ministry plan (such as fellowship groups, Bible studies and events) aligned with the church vision and mission
• Develop and facilitate a plan for pastoral care
• Collaborate with the other pastors, staff and church leadership for oversight and governance of the church
• A commitment to and participation in the wider Alliance family, its policies and practices

● 與其他牧者、同工和教會領導團隊合作，對教會進行監督和治理；
● 致力參與紐西蘭宣道總會的事工。
